Flying to Grand Cayman
If your departure airport is not one of the seven airports in the United States that have direct Grand Cayman flights, you will be faced with at least one stop. Luckily, there are many more cities that offer direct flights to George Town, Grand Cayman on a seasonal basis.
You will need a valid passport for entry into Grand Cayman as well as for re-entry to the U.S. A visa is not required for citizens on vacation, but a work permit is required if you are traveling for business rather than pleasure. You should take note that Grand Cayman airfare may include a departure tax for every person over the age of 12. If this tax is not included in the price of your tickets to Grand Cayman, you will need to pay it when you leave the island.

Getting around the Island
If you are staying at a private residence/condo or even in North Side, it is definitely a lot easier to rent a car so you can get up and go as you please. If you are staying on the Seven Mile bech Corridor, Taxis are easily available but can be quite costly.
There is a car rental plaza right across from the airport.
There are no car rental kiosks in the airport, so youll have a 2 minute walk over to the Plaza.
We can make this process easier for you by booking your car in advance with priority collection.

If you have lots of luggage, we suggest that the driver on your contract collects the car and then returns to the airport for the reminder of your family or luggage.

The Owen Roberts Airport is also going through some constuctions to we highly reccomend the fast tracking service that will help you avoid long lines in Immigration and Customs so that you can make the best use of your time, whether you are visiting the Cayman Islands for business or pleasure. On arrival a CIAA Customer Service Officer will meet you at the plane steps with a sign with your name. After clearing your luggage in Customs, the Customer Service Officer will escort you to the taxi dispatch booth or to the rental car plaza.

Let us know if you are interested in the fast tracking service through the airport as well as for priorty car collection.
Please note that these are 2 different entities and we can apply on your behalf.
